Sometimes even the most
ancient of wisdom and strongest fortune-telling powers arent enough to
alleviate the complexity of E&M coding. Physicians and compliance
officers have long had the misfortune to fumble with confusing documentation
guidelines while under the risk of being audited. Now more than ever, medical
practices are losing money because of undercoding and poor documentation of
their Evaluation & Management (E&M) services. It is no hidden message that
E&M claims comprise about 40% of part B Medicare payments and that the
Medicare claims error rate for 2003 still exceeds CMS target. So what can your
medical office do to change its ill-fated destiny of being denied or
underpaid? Dont rely on luck to get reimbursed properly! Attend this seminar,
and chances are, your coding and documentation mistakes will be a thing of the
past. For the future, we predict your practice will code properly and prosper!
