Gulf Coast MGMA is pleased to announce our sponsorship program for 2003!

Over the last two years, those companies who have affiliated with Gulf Coast MGMA have made valuable contacts, reaching the decision-makers of many of greater Houston 's premier medical practices. 

Those who have gone to the next level and sponsored a specific meeting have had the opportunity to inform those in attendance about their specific product or service.  In addition, sponsorship includes a certain number of Affiliate memberships, which have allowed the sponsoring company to attend GCMGMA meetings as members, as well as to participate in the member benefits of the organization.

This year, the board of Gulf Coast MGMA has altered the meeting schedule and has adjusted the sponsorship program accordingly.  We are planning on six (6) meetings during the 2003 calendar year, holding them bi-monthly rather than monthly.  In addition, one or more of these meetings will be structured as "symposia," which will run longer and will involve two or more speakers.

Finally, the meeting location has been moved to new locations in the heart of the Texas Medical Center .  We are currently alternating our meetings between The Marriott Medical Center and  Trevisio Restaurant, which has proven to be outstanding with near-record attendance so far in 2003.

Based on the attendance so far and the number of new members who have signed up to join the organization, we expect our numbers to continue to grow beyond the nearly 150 active, affiliate, student and honorary members we enjoyed in 2002.  To that end, and with the concentration of topics for 2003 over fewer meetings, and the new location, we expect our attendance to continue to be better than 2002.
