Brad Shaink is the Administrative Director of Digital Innovation at Houston Methodist as a leader in both Center for Innovation and Information Technology. In his role, Brad leads strategic cross-departmental efforts in digital front door, touchless experience, intelligent automation, and strategies that support streamlined inpatient and outpatient access to care.

Brad's successes include reducing friction for consumers and patients by advancing digital front door strategies, the creation of a mobile-first team, the creation of an intelligent automation team, the deployment and adoption of Epic to its main academic medical center and physician practices and innovating on mobile-first strategies. Brad is an innovator by passion and entrepreneur at heart. His strengths are in developing strategy, solutioning outcomes, and leading teams to drive those strategic initiatives.

Brad has served Houston Methodist for ten years. Before joining Houston Methodist, Brad was employed at Children's Hospital & Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska and has professional experience within telecommunications, manufacturing and logistics industries. 

Josh Sol, Administrative Director of Houston Methodist Innovation and Ambulatory Clinical Systems, has over 14 years of progressive health care information technology experience, working with Houston Methodist since June 2010. His current role includes leading strategies surrounding EMR implementation and support, Community Connect program, patient engagement, population health, virtual care, interoperability, as well as improving the physician’s mobile experience. As health care moves toward an emphasis on consumerism, accessibility and usability, Josh plays an instrumental role within Houston Methodist’s Center for Innovation — focusing on positive transformation. His goals are driven by enabling technologies focused on convenience and access to care, as well as improving the digital experience for patients and physicians.
