Donna D. Fraiche, JD

Donna D. Fraiche is Managing Partner of the New Orleans office of the law firm Locke, Liddell & Sapp LLP, where she chairs its health law practice. She has an established reputation as one of the foremost health lawyers in America today. Ms. Fraiche chairs the Louisiana Health Care Commission and is former Chair of the Board and President of the New Orleans Regional Medical Center . She is a diplomate of the American College of Health Care Executives. Ms. Fraiche has served as President of the American Health Lawyers Association and has chaired the Association’s national program on medical staff legal issues. She has presented at the American College of Legal Medicine on Fraud and Abuse and has testified before the Joint Economic Committee of Congress on the hospital industry structure in the 21st century. Ms. Fraiche has spoken nationwide at the invitation of the American Health Lawyers Association, American Bar Association, American Hospital Association, American Board of Medical Specialties, and the American Psychiatric Association, among others. She is on the adjunct faculty of Tulane University ’s School of Public Health and Administration, and on the Dean’s Council of Tulane University Medical School. Ms. Fraiche was recently honored by New Orleans CitiBusiness as a Woman of the Year. Her topics of interest include fraud and abuse, anti-referral, strategic development, mergers and acquisition, managed care, regulatory, and Medicare/Medicaid.

Ms. Fraiche attended Louisiana State University and A & M College . She received her JD degree from Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans , Louisiana.
